Prof. Bonnie Nardi Co-Authors Book on Heteromation

Prof. Bonnie Nardi, with Hamid R. Ekbia of Indiana University Bloomington, has co-authored the book Heteromation, and Other Stories of Computing and Capitalism wherein they explore the social and technological processes through which economic value is extracted from digitally mediated work, the nature of the value created, and what prompts people to participate in the process.

Heteromation was published by The MIT Press in May.
