Welcome Reception

A reception to welcome attendees to ICSE 2006 will be held on Tuesday evening. Posters accepted to the Emerging Results Track, Far East Experience Track, Education Track and the Doctoral Symposium will be featured. Poster authors will be available to present their work and engage in discussion. Refreshments will be served.

Gala Banquet

Wednesday, May 24 - 7:00pm - 10:00pm - Grand Ballroom

A highlight of the conference is the gala banquet featuring an exciting program of traditional Chinese entertainment including Shaolin KongFu martial arts, acrobatics, Magic Face, Thousand Hands of Kwin-yin dance, Chinese folk music, and music by the Peking Opera. An awards ceremony will also be featured, including presentation of the annual ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Service Award, SIGSOFT Outstanding Research Award, SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Awards, and IEEE Computer Society Harlan D. Mills Award.

Attendees are asked to be seated by 7:00pm.
