Abstract

Software tools today provide adequate support for creating software design artifacts, but few take strides to directly support the creative design process. Software designers instead turn to the whiteboard to allow themselves the freedom to explore their design problem at the level of informality that they need. This research looks at ways we can enhance that whiteboard experience with computational support so that software designers can maximize their creative potential.
