Discovery and Modeling of Development Processes in Open Source Communities

Process discovery has been shown to be challenging offering limited results, however, most work has been conducted in closed source systems. We look at a new approach to process discovery that examines the Internet information spaces of open source software development projects. We look to design techniques to assist process discovery and modeling in an automated fashion.
